This day was so different from yesterday. The forest and landscape was dry and arid while yesterday it was so much. The beauty of the land was incredible but I also did tons of traversing along valleys so I could see forever.

Today was another marathon plus day at 29 miles. I got to camp after dark and gain/lost thousands more feet in elevation. Everyone worth it, even if at the top of the last climb I wanted to cry from being so tired.

I woke to partly cloudy skies. The weather would toy with me most of the afternoon. My dry sunny lunch was spoiled at a 15 minute down poor. After that luck was on my side the rest of the day. This day was super long, 28 miles, and dinner was in the dark.

Yes, rain again! I wasn’t very happy once again this day. It was a long hard wet 25 miles. I did manage to make a fire at camp. I gave me one small victory on an otherwise crappy day.
