Yes, rain again! I wasn’t very happy once again this day. It was a long hard wet 25 miles. I did manage to make a fire at camp. I gave me one small victory on an otherwise crappy day.

As you can see raining still. This was a shitty shitty day. The only saving grace was seeing some friends, having a coke, beer, and pizza. All that was trumped by getting dumped and having to set up camp in the rain again.
I didn’t see much today. It was mostly clear cut and new forests. A harsh difference from Goat Rocks and the other areas to the south. The day ended with rain.
Today like most of the days prior was filled with awesome traverses like this one. I saw a group of 20 goats on a cliff side this day.
This day started off quite foggy but by lunch it was sunny and beautiful once again. I remember the day being long and finding a camp spot proved tough since the spot I hope to find a flat spot didn’t have one.
Her majesty in all her glory. Rainier looked so impressive this close. I can’t wait to actually climb her one day.
Goat Rocks! I took close to 70 pictures this day. It was so spectacular. The weather couldn’t have been better either. I will definitely go back.
This is a great view of the western glacier on Mt. Adams. I hiked around half the mountain most of the day. I crossed many wast outs and scree fields.
On this day I saw three volcanos at one time. This is Mt. Adams. I also saw Mt. St. Helen and Mt. Hood. Coming from the east coast and not being used to these sleeping giants, I still find it odd to be hiking so close.
Are these the coolest mushrooms you’ve ever seen? Sorry I can’t find what it’s name is.
This isn’t the most exciting picture of the day but it’s the sweetest in my mind! HOME!!!!
This day starter wet and I never thought it would ever dry out. By late lunch it finally cleared. This shot is of Eagle Creek Falls. You walk behind the waterfall in a man made tunnel cut into the rock. It’s not the official PCT but much cooler, so everyone does it.
Besides Mt. Hood being on big sand dune and completely washing away, there was beauty to it. This sign is a perfect example. 550 miles to go!
After seeing a miniature backhoe earlier I wasn’t completely shocked to see this mini bike but it was odd. Even odder was I didn’t try and start it. (this is just one of many shot’s I took of myself on it)
I was pretty tired on this morning considering I hiked until almost 9:30 the night before. It was a slow grind up to this ridge but the views once up there were great. There wasn’t much up there but it’s one of the places I’d love to go back to.
